Hi everyone, and welcome to this week’s edition of Personal Development Radar!
Since last week, I’ve set up a separate page for the radar, which will initially be an index of all the editions of the Radar. This page is accessible from the main menu at the top of each page, and is found at the following URL: https://personaldevelopment.ie/radar.
If you have an idea or two about improving the Radar, please contact me!
Okay, now it’s time to share with you some news and reviews:
-
Blog introduction: Shamelle Perera invites you all to visit her Enhanced Life blog, and here is why:I believe that life is a continuous effort of improvement. Isn’t it? We read books, buy a car, follow further education etc. I could go on, but I think you get my point. Whether it’s improving our life style, attitude, knowledge, health, and wealth…. We are knowingly or otherwise, on a mission of improvement.
This blog will represent my opinions/ideas, based on my incidental gleaning sand shared experiences of others. I’m hoping my entries will further enhance our life, and make it more gratifying, on its way to the “lost destinationâ€!

Podcast/blog introduction: Andrea Ross has emailed me about the Just One More Book podcast/blog. Here is a short summary of this resource she gave me:What better time for personal development than during our formative years — it’s so much easier to learn positive thinking habits and effective strategies for dealing with ourselves, others, and problems during our childhood than it is to un-learn bad habits as adults. And what better means of learning than through great children’s books!
The “Just One More Book!!” podcast helps busy parents find engaging, entertaining, thought-provoking, read-aloud children’s books that will help build strong literacy and analytical skills for your child and create happy memories for the whole family. Titles are organized, for quick reference, by subject as well as by the values and virtues explored. We also feature interviews with authors, illustrators and publisher and play audio book reviews which have been submitted by our listeners. We hope you will stop in for a listen soon!

Personally: I like the idea very much, and with Elizabeth turning 1 year old in the coming weeks, I think we’ll get more and more interested in really good books. Already our baby girl loves our reading, so it’s probably just a matter of time before she learns to ask for just one more interesting book every evening! hanks for sharing, Andrea!

Podcast/blog introduction: Scott Young blog about his personal development discoveries in his Scott H Young: Get The Most Out of Your Life! blog. His blog is 1 year old, so it’s probably not going to be new to some of you, but I’ve known Scott for long enough to recommend his resource and that’s why I wanted to feature him on the Radar!Website: http://www.scotthyoung.com/blog
Personally: Scott is one of the youngest, yet most impressive bloggers in the personal development community I know. Most of his articles are thorough researches of a topic, and some of his ideas and views on things are truly innovative.
He spends a lot of time working on his posts, and it shows. I’ve personally enjoyed a number of series he’s run in the past, and I’m sure every one of you will find some topic of an interest on his pages.
That’s all I’ve got for today! Please leave your ideas in comments, and contact me regarding your blogs or products to be featured in the next edition of Personal Development Radar.
